I design products and then build them. Ten years across SaaS platforms, enterprise tools and design systems; the last two spent shipping the front end myself.
The working day is short and it doesn’t negotiate. So I scope down, build the smallest honest version, and put it in front of someone early. You get fewer options and a working one sooner.
